For 50 years, the ASAE Foundation's commitment to strategic research has remained unwavering.
Today's environment is more complex than ever and doing more with fewer resources is becoming the new normal. There are too many questions to answer and new models to explore for any one organization to tackle independently. The ASAE Foundation is committed to helping associations find the answers they need through strategic research. Additionally, we recognize the need to invest in leaders of tomorrow and that's why we've established grants and educational scholarships.
We invite you to get involved with the ASAE Foundation because together we can advance the profession. Your individual or corporate contribution provide support for the following core areas facing associations:
- Benchmarking governance practices: Conducted with Indiana University, this comprehensive study of association governance will identify key indicators of effective board management and leadership.
- Effective membership models: Researchers from a variety of academic disciplines will identify current and emerging trends of effective membership models and define factors that sustain membership relationships.
- Innovation Grants Program (restricted fund): The Innovation Grants Program, launched in 2012 with support from the SunTrust Foundation, funds projects that raise awareness and engagement in innovation efforts for the association community.
- Assessing trends in tradeshows: In collaboration with Cornell University, this project identifies which variables play a key role in the relative desirability and market share of association tradeshows.
